Women’s Own Worth

The W.O.W. Villas are a safe, healing place for survivors of domestic violence or violent crime to rebuild their lives. With two fully operational homes and two more under construction, these villas are more than homes – they’re a launchpad. “The homes aren’t a handout,” says Women’s Own Worth Founder Jajuan Archer, “they’re a hand up. We provide a stable, dignified space where families can breathe, regroup, and rebuild after trauma.”

The vision and execution of these homes are made possible in part by Jajuan’s husband, Greg, an architect and Director of Architecture at Garver. Licensed in 20 states and leading major projects, Greg still finds time to oversee every design detail of the homes, ensuring each one is a beautiful, safe space that any family would be proud to call home. Greg says watching the building go up is fun, but the exciting part is seeing the children outside playing, smiling and just having a great time. This mission is powered by a generous network of supporters and local businesses who believe in giving back. Companies like Royal Doors and Windows, Trane, the Vogel Schwartz Foundation and others have donated building materials and systems or given monetary donations dramatically reducing costs and allowing Women’s Own Worth to continue investing in life-changing mental health therapy and direct services. W.O.W. does not receive any federal or state grants. These homes are a product of God’s promises that have come to fruition, through individuals and companies that care. Message from W.O.W. Founder, “Whatever you have been through don’t let it define you! YOU are worthy of a wonderful life, YOU can do the hard things, and it will be worth it!”

Follow W.O.W. on Facebook and connect at www.womensownworth.com to be part of the mission to empower survivors in Arkansas to know their worth.  W.O.W.’s next stop is Garland County where they hope to break ground on their fifth transitional home in 2026.
