I was the first in my family to attend college, a milestone that meant a great deal to me and my parents. UA Little Rock was the perfect choice because it offered accessibility, affordability, and the opportunity to pursue a quality education while staying close to home. The supportive environment and resources made it possible for me to take this important step toward achieving my dreams. UA Little Rock was and continues to be critical to our capital city and Central Arkansas.

The education I received at UA Little Rock opened doors to a career that allowed me to follow my passion for serving others. My studies focused on understanding social structures and the dynamics that shape communities, which provided a strong foundation for my lifelong career in public service and nonprofit leadership.

It equipped me with critical thinking skills, an understanding of societal needs, and the confidence to lead programs that positively impact underserved populations. Over the years, the university has continued to be a source of lifelong learning and inspiration, providing valuable connections and support throughout my career.

UA Little Rock is not just a place to earn a degree – it’s a partner in your personal and professional growth. My time there taught me that education is more than coursework; it’s about building relationships, discovering your purpose, and gaining the tools to make a difference in the world. I will always be grateful for the role UA Little Rock played in shaping my journey and giving me the foundation to advocate for those who need a voice.
