Brandon Baldwin

Executive Vice President, Bailey Construction

Bachelor of Science in Construction Management, 1998

I was drawn to UA Little Rock for its respected construction program and the opportunity to remain connected to Central Arkansas. The university offered an environment where academic instruction and hands-on experience worked in unison. That approach sharpened my technical knowledge while instilling leadership skills and the discipline required to balance full-time work with a demanding course load. This decision to attend UA Little Rock became the foundation of my career.

The impact went far beyond academics. The friendships I formed with classmates and faculty grew into professional relationships that still influence my work today. Combined with the program’s practical training, those connections created a network of mentors and colleagues who have remained part of my journey in construction. Today, as Executive Vice President of Bailey Construction, I rely on the foundation built at UA Little Rock to lead complex projects and guide teams with confidence.

UA Little Rock equipped me to enter the industry with confidence and capability. The education provided a professional portfolio built on both knowledge and real-world experience -resources I still use every day in my leadership role at Bailey Construction. The real value of UA Little Rock lies in its balance of opportunity and community. The faculty genuinely care about student success, and the friendships built there can become lasting connections in the industry. Those lessons continue to shape how I lead, build, and grow in the construction field today.
