Global Events & Marketing Manager

DAY AT WORK
There’s really no such thing as a typical day, and that’s part of the fun. I lead global events and marketing for the Americas, so I might spend the morning coordinating a fintech summit in Brazil (hello Portuguese!) and the afternoon working on messaging for an instant payments initiative in the U.S. I’m constantly navigating different markets, languages, and time zones, which keeps things dynamic and endlessly interesting.

BEGINNING INTERESTS

I started in tourism, working with regional associations across Arkansas to promote local economies. Later, I helped lead Arkansas Tourism at the state level. It was all about connection between people, communities, and opportunity. That same mission carries over into fintech. Now, instead of promoting destinations, I help promote access to financial tools and technology, whether that’s expanding capabilities for large institutions or helping extend services to those who’ve traditionally been underserved.

CAREER EVOLUTION
I’ve always been drawn to the intersection of service, strategy, and innovation. Over time, I realized that technology wasn’t just about infrastructure, it could also be a way to help people. That mindset led me to fintech, and I’ve never looked back.

LOVE THE WORK
I love telling stories about technology that serves people. One of my favorite examples is how our ATM infrastructure was used to display Amber Alerts and help find missing children. It’s the kind of project I love talking about, where great technology and the human angle meet. That focus on access and serving the underserved is such an underappreciated aspect of finance.

 SURPRISING BUT TRUE
You don’t have to be a tech expert to belong here. There’s room for storytellers, planners, and connectors too.

ADVICE
Be curious. Stay open. Say yes before you’re ready. And don’t talk yourself out of the room, because you deserve to be in it.
