Golfers will hit the greens for a powerful purpose at the Baptist Health Foundation Bolo Bash Golf Tournament this fall. Presented by Simmons Bank, this year promises renewed excitement. Celebrating 35 years, Bolo Bash remains a beloved event garnering more than 480 players for two days of friendly competition for this legendary institution. Baptist Health Foundation Chief Development Officer Janet Marshall extends appreciation for continued support. “We are grateful for Simmons Bank’s commitment to Bolo Bash. Their partnership plays a vital role in advancing our mission to create healthier communities.”
Chairs Clay Gordon and Bobby Gosser encourage fellow golf enthusiasts to grab a club and make a difference in the lives of fellow Arkansans. This year’s proceeds support capital improvements and technology upgrades at Baptist Health College Little Rock. This will expand enrollment capacity and enrich the learning experience for students. “Every swing is an investment in the future of health care,” Bobby explains. “With Baptist’s unique college of nursing and allied health training programs, this event helps prepare the workforce for our state’s true needs.”
Bobby, who has been involved with Bolo Bash for several years. notes that the tournament’s legacy keeps him coming back. “I’ve been on the committee for about 15 years. I believe deeply in the cause. Participants always tell me how much fun they had – it’s a well-run event on a beautiful course, with amenities that make it easy to invite colleagues and clients.” Clay shares that sentiment. “It’s the biggest tournament in the state, and it’s a fantastic event,” he elaborates. “Kinko Constructors has supported Baptist Health for decades, and I’m honored to help carry that tradition forward. This tournament is already such a success – we just want to continue that momentum.”A fan-favorite returns this year with the All-Female Team Competition – offering women the opportunity to compete head-to-head in their own flight while supporting a meaningful mission.
There’s something for every golfer. From the scramble to lively contests and more, join a century of service and support Baptist Health College Little Rock as it prepares the next generation of qualified nurses and allied-health professionals.
