BBQ + MORE
Though Memphis boasts a wide variety of restaurants, the city’s culinary classic is barbecue. An undeniable American tradition, authentic BBQ styles include Kansas City, North Carolina, Texas and Memphis. Memphis joints introduced this truly regional (divine) cuisine in the late 1940s – served wet or dry, the tradition continues and does not disappoint. The local food scene offers diversity that satisfies and impresses any palate. From food trucks to James Beard Award-winning restaurants, sweet tea is a MUST!
