MEREDITH HALE

Generations X and Baby Boomers often presume today’s youth care only about themselves, but young Arkansans like Meredith Hale are changing this perspective. As CARTI Foundation Annual Gifts Officer & Grants Writer, she worked to exceed expectations and ensure continued support of the foundation. CARTI Foundation Executive Director Jennifer Selig says “She was an active member of CARTI’s Inclusion Council and served on several employee resource work groups. She’s a people person and loves to engage with colleagues, donors and volunteers. It is clear she enjoys, understands and can undertake all aspects of development.”

Prior to her tenure with CARTI, Meredith’s time at CareLink was equally impressive. CareLink Development Officer Alli Kleypas elaborates, “Meredith always had a strong commitment to professional development, and she lead her team with that at the forefront of her mind.” Jennifer adds, “Meredith’s energetic personality and creativity helped her grow into a strong fundraising professional. I’m delighted to be part of her development as a fundraiser and support her in her career.”

As Meredith reflects on her experience with both organizations, she can’t help but smile. “I always joked I was an accidental fundraiser, but I’ve come to see just how important that part of my career has been to who I am as a professional and person. As I transition into my position at Stone Ward – I am grateful for the lessons fundraising, CareLink, and CARTI have taught me. It has made me a better listener, storyteller, and advocate for those in Arkansas who need help being heard.”
