First Community Bank is a regional financial institution, with 30 banks throughout Arkansas and Southern Missouri, that places people and service as a top priority. Locally owned and operated, its commitment to building better community is unwavering. Organizations across the state benefit from this vision and value: Community Comes First. Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch Development Officer Matt Cleveland elaborates, “They are good community partners, but not just in banking. They believe that where you find strong, supportive banks, you’ll find strong, vibrant communities.” He notes the bank serves as a reminder to business and civic leaders. “They are also contributing members of the community – giving their time, talents and financial support to many worthy causes.”

These donations include organizations like Arkansas Sheriffs’ Youth Ranch as well as public school districts, city recreational sports leagues, chambers of commerce and the medical community in every First Community Bank market. Additional support to which the bank provides includes the Child Advocacy Centers of Arkansas, John 3:17 Ministries, Arkansas Single Parent Scholarship Fund, Miracle League, March of Dimes and the Arkansas Foodbank. “First Community Bank has been an outstanding partner with the Food Bank of North Central Arkansas,” explains CEO Jeff Quick. “Their commitment to the communities and people we serve is evidenced by the multiple ways they participate in our work.” The bank helped with a construction loan, which tripled the organization’s capacity to ensure more accessibility to healthy options for North Central Arkansas residents. “We are especially grateful for the way they continue to provide volunteer groups to package food boxes, hosting food drives and answering our calls for assistance each time we reach out to them.”

First Community Bank encourages its employees to get involved through volunteer opportunities and employee-led fundraisers, for which the bank matches funds. From the bank tellers to marketing staff to the president, this team of 600+ employees contribute 20,000+ hours each year. Organizations across Arkansas benefit from this cumulative generosity and continue to improve the welfare of fellow Arkansans. Matt adds, “We could not accomplish our mission without the support of First Community Bank in Batesville.”
