Arkansas League of Artists Members Exhibition

June 21 @ 9:00 am - July 5 @ 6:00 pm

The Argenta Library is happy to be hosting Arkansas League of Artists (ALA)’s 2024 Members Show, an exhibition by current members of ALA. The exhibition will run from June 21 through July 5, with an opening reception on June 21 from 5-8 PM, as part of the Argenta Art District’s Third Friday Art Walk. Admission is free to the public.

The Arkansas League of Artists is an eclectic and diverse organization formed to promote the visual fine arts in Arkansas, open to all ages and across multiple disciplines. The League consists of visual artists and art enthusiasts from all over the state, who gather to learn through the demonstrations of techniques, the exploration of materials and mediums, and from the sharing of collective experiences and knowledge.

As a non-profit organization, the league promotes artistic education and the importance of the artistic community in Arkansas. We provide artists with opportunities for exposure through organized exhibitions and competitions, various workshops, scholarship awards for High School Students entering a college or university, and funds for students to be used for art instruction and classes at the Arkansas Museum of Fine Arts Windgate Art School.

The Argenta Library Gallery is open during regular library hours Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 6 PM. For more information about this exhibition and other gallery events, visit NLRlibrary.org or contact Argenta Library at (501) 687-1061.
