Grab those golf clubs! The Home for Healing Annual Golf Classic returns to the greens – this year at Chenal Country Club. Chairman Will Clark will welcome friends back for an afternoon filled with great food, a beautiful course and some amazing prizes including a chance to win $25,000 with a hole-in-one! Fun is guaranteed but he recognizes a greater opportunity, “Golf is a great reason to gather, but being able to share the mission with a large audience creates lifelong supporters.”
Will is planning for success both in game and in support for Home for Healing and families navigating difficult medical journeys. Home for Healing provides safe, nurturing, and no-cost accommodations for patients undergoing outpatient cancer treatment and their caregivers as well parents of NICU infants and families with a loved one in ICU. Proceeds support facility operations and necessary maintenance. “Every dollar raised has a clear and immediate impact.”
Through his wife’s work, Will better understands the invaluable resources that Home for Healing provides. “Sally is a resident physician, and I see firsthand the dedication it takes to care for people in their most vulnerable moments.” Providing convenient and affordable accommodations in a peaceful + restorative environment, Home for Healing remains a beacon of hope. “I’ll never be able to tend to patients the way Sally does but being able to support an organization like the Home – one that provides vital support for families navigating our healthcare system – means the world to me.”
