Hosted by Timmons Arts Foundation, Designers Choice Fashion Preview showcases creations by nationally-recognized designers < with a heart for Arkansas > combining the best of fashion and artistry for an unforgettable extravaganza. Proceeds from the evening’s festivities support arts enrichment programs – providing children from underserved communities an opportunity to experience the arts through educational and enrichment programs.
The Timmons Arts Foundation is dedicated to promoting + cultivating the arts in Central Arkansas – nurturing the talent of artists through its support of the arts in local schools and afterschool programs. The foundation provides additional art supplies and musical instruments to supplement existing programs in schools.

Before stepping fully into design, LaQuanda worked as a model, giving her a unique understanding of how garments should move, feel, and empower the woman wearing them. While modeling was a dream, designing was always her deeper calling, and Legacy Black represents the moment those dreams aligned.
Inspired by her daughter, LaQuanda designs with a simple belief: it’s not about perfection, it’s about presence. She hopes her work encourages women and young girls to show up boldly, follow their dreams, and walk confidently in who they are.
