Tempus Realty Partners is helping Central Arkansas scholars achieve future college and career success with GROW (Generational Resources and Opportunities for Well-Being). Through the program, Tempus is providing seed funding as well as tailored financial education to nearly 500 Murrell Taylor Elementary School (MTES) scholars, teachers and administrators. Clay Ramey, one of the commercial real estate investment firm’s partners and vice president of capital markets, believes it’s a strategic partnership that will deliver generational impact for families and the community.

For the 2025-2026 academic year, Tempus has invested $600 for each kindergarten through fifth-grade scholar and their classroom teachers, as well as MTES school leaders. Clay explains, “The seed investment is only one part of the equation of GROW. We believe the program’s unique combination of support for scholars and families will help spark lifelong financial well-being.”

Tempus will offer an additional $300 in annual incentive savings for kids who achieve specific targets, such as maintaining good attendance or completing their reading goals. With support from an annual grant, MTES has a GROW Ambassador, who serves as a liaison between the school, scholars and their families and program partners: Tempus, Jacksonville North Pulaski School District, Economics Arkansas, the State Treasurer’s Office and the Clinton School of Public Service.

An approachable money-management curriculum, designed by Tempus with support from Economics Arkansas and delivered by classroom teachers each month, offers scholars the chance to learn how to maximize the savings in their 529 accounts.

“With GROW, we not only want to equip scholars with funds for their future. We want to ensure they have the knowledge – and the confidence – to make the most of their savings as they pursue their goals, whether that’s attending college, pursuing a career-training pathway at a trade school or starting a business.”

Now celebrating its 10th Anniversary, Tempus is a real estate partnership focused on investing in America’s Heartland. Proudly based in Little Rock, it has acquired more than $1 billion in property across 25 states since its 2016 founding. Along with assembling profitable investments and delivering reliable tenant solutions, Tempus is steadfast in its commitment to improving the community.

Clay says, “We are passionate about supporting Central Arkansas – a region many of our investors, partners and team members are proud to call home. We believe GROW will have a lasting impact here, not only for scholars and their families but also the economic future of the entire community.”

Tempus will make an additional $300 investment in the 2026-2027 school year for those with existing GROW accounts, as well as a $600 per-person seed investment for all new kindergarten and transfer scholars at MTES. He notes that GROW’s scalable structure is a model for others to consider for future expansion and replication.

“We designed GROW as an open invitation to businesses, philanthropic organizations and community leaders to directly invest in student success. We hope to see GROW expand into other communities across our state to help young people achieve their dreams.”
